Les Marteilles is a beautiful, large traditional villa built in 1992 and situated on a Dordogne hillside in 1.5 acres of enclosed and tended gardens. It is sympathetically divided with good sound-proofing into two self-contained homes. The owners live in this ground floor apartment "Genevrier" during your stay. |

Genévrier, the lower half of this villa, has one double bedroom, one twin bedroom and one full bathroom, and is comfortable for up to 4 adults or a small family. |

A new, comfortably furnished sitting/dining room with modern sofa and arm chairs opens out through wide double-glazed patio doors onto a large covered and furnished terrace, providing welcome shade from the mid-day sun. Satellite television /video, radio/cd player are installed and there is a selection of books, videos, cds and board games. |

The modern all-electric fitted kitchen includes a cooker, washing machine, dishwasher, large fridge/freezer & microwave. We always leave a supply of detergents, fabric conditioner, washing up liquid, cleaning products and cloths, tea-towels and hand towels, cling wrap and poly bags. | |
Genévrier's two bedrooms are fully furnished with good quality beds, new mattresses and linen. Pretty curtains, large windows, rugs and pictures complete the stylish decoration. The tiled bathroom has a bath/shower, wash basin with illuminated mirrored cabinet over, wc, fan heater and fan vent. |

On adjacent land, there is a small wood for short walks and a flat grassy field for ball games. There is some sports equipment on site, principally for children, including volleyball, boules and badminton. There is also a large, shared petanque court available. |
