Les Marteilles is a beautiful, large traditional villa built in 1992 and situated on a Dordogne hillside in 1.5 acres of enclosed and tended gardens. It is sympathetically divided with good sound-proofing into two self-contained homes. Juniperus offers luxury accommodation, its own private swimming pool and every modern convenience. Views from the pool, terraces and gardens are truly delightful. You are not overlooked at all. The owners live below in the ground floor apartment. |

Junipérus, the upper half of this detached villa, has four bedrooms and three bathrooms and can accommodate up to 8 people in comfort. Junipérus is totally and fully equipped - a real 'home-from-home'. A cot with duvet & linen, a high chair and a baby bath are available if required. |

The high-ceilinged dining room, with table and eight chairs & other furniture, has a sliding wall of glass doors. This leads directly to the 8m x 4m private swimming pool, which is surrounded by terraces with planted tubs and flowering shrubs. This pool is fitted with an ALARM meeting French Government Standard NF P90-307, July 2004. However, very young children always need to be supervised but will appreciate the kiddies' paddling pool and garden play equipment. Older children have volleyball, petanque and badminton equipment. |

The large, beamed lounge has two wide sets of sliding double-glazed doors, one leading to the south-facing balcony and the other to a west-facing terrace. It is fully and comfortably furnished with two sofas and four comfortable chairs, coffee tables and a bookcase filled with books, CDs, DVDs, videos and games. A satellite television with English digital TV & radio programmes is provided together with DVD and video players. |

The well-equipped, modern, fitted kitchen has an electric oven, ceramic 4-hob, two refrigerators, a separate freezer, microwave, washing machine and dishwasher. There is plenty of storage space and work surfaces. We always leave a supply of detergents, fabric conditioners, cleaning products and cloths, tea-towels, cling wrap and poly bags.

| The dining terrace with table and chairs is shaded by a roll-out sunblind. There are several sun beds and parasols on the lawn beside this lovely pool, which looks south over spectacular views. The lawn is edged with mature flowering shrubs and trees. There is a concrete charcoal barbecue. |  |

The large master bedroom has French windows to two balconies over wonderful views to the south and west. It includes a king-size bed, six mirrored wardrobes and a dressing table with beautiful furnishings and bedlinen. The fully tiled en-suite bathroom comprises a bath with shower, vanity unity washbasin, and w.c. It also houses the Hoover automatic washing machine. (There is a rotary washing line in the garden.)

On adjacent land, there is a small wood for short walks and a flat grassy field for ball games. There is some sports equipment on site, principally for children, including volleyball, badminton and boules. There is also a large, shared petanque court. Several interesting villages are within a short cycle ride with larger towns within a 15-minute drive.
